The Gorillaz

Gorillaz is een virtuele Britse band en een multimedia-project van Damon Albarn en Jamie Hewlett. De groep werd in 1998 opgericht en kreeg de fictieve personages 2-D, Noodle, Russel Hobbs en Murdoc Niccals als bandleden. De bandleden brachten op 30 augustus 2005 een VIP-Visit aan Habbo.nl.

De bandleden waren te herkennen aan hun speciale Gorillaz badge en de volgende Habbonamen:

• NOODLE-Gorillaz
• RUSSEL-Gorillaz
• MURDOC-Gorillaz

Gorillaz in het Theater

Om 8 uur ’s morgens zat het Theater al bomvol. Waar wachtte iedereen op? Op de Gorillaz!

Op 30 augustus zat om 8 uur ’s morgens het Theater al bomvol. En waar wachtte iedereen op? Op de Gorillaz natuurlijk!

En om twee uur was het eindelijk zover… Ben je er zelf niet bij geweest? Dan lees je hier een uitgebreid verslag van een middagje Rock ’n Roll in Habbo Hotel.

De spanning is te snijden in het Theater, vlak voordat de Gorillaz eindelijk het podium betreden. Maar dan… Een voor 1 stappen de bandleden het podium op. 2D, Noodle, Russel en Murdoc lopen langs de ‘Hobba security’, en maken zich klaar voor een geweldige ontmoeting met de Habbo’s van het Nederlandse hotel…
